The installation method for sound absorbing panels mainly includes the following steps:
Preparation: Before installing the sound-absorbing panels, a series of preparatory work is required. First, clean the base surface, ensuring it is flat and free of impurities. Then, mark the installation positions and elevations of the sound-absorbing panels according to the design requirements.
Keel Installation: Installing the main and secondary keels is a crucial step in the sound-absorbing panel installation. The main keel is typically C38 keel, with a spacing of 900-1200mm. The secondary keels are suspended from the main keel using hangers, with spacing matching the horizontal dimensions of the panels.
Sound-absorbing Panel Installation: Fix the sound-absorbing panels to the keel, usually using nails. The nails should be embedded at least 2/3 of the way into the wooden keel and evenly distributed. The sound-absorbing panels can be installed horizontally or vertically, the specific direction determined according to design requirements.
Joint Treatment: A gap of at least 3mm should be left at the ends of the sound-absorbing panels to ensure sound absorption. Use installation accessories to treat the joints, ensuring that each sound-absorbing panel is joined sequentially.
Concealed inspection: After the water and electricity installation, water testing, and pressure testing are completed, a concealed inspection of the keel should be carried out to ensure the installation quality.
