Unless otherwise specified, the quantity of formwork for cast-in-place concrete and reinforced concrete is calculated based on the area of the contact surface between the concrete and the formwork, in square meters (㎡).

1. The formwork height for cast-in-place reinforced concrete columns, beams, slabs, and walls (i.e., the height from the outdoor ground level to the bottom of the slab or from the top of the slab to the bottom of the slab) is based on 3.6m or less. For any portion exceeding 3.6m, an additional support quantity is calculated based on the excess portion.

2. Holes in cast-in-place reinforced concrete walls and slabs with a single opening area of 0.3㎡ or less are not deducted, and the formwork for the sidewalls of the holes is not added. Holes with an area exceeding 0.3㎡ are deducted, and the area of the sidewall formwork is included in the calculation of the wall and slab formwork quantity.

3. Cast-in-place reinforced concrete frames are calculated according to the relevant regulations for beams, slabs, columns, and walls respectively. Attached columns are included in the calculation of the wall quantity.

4. For cup-shaped foundations where the cup opening height is greater than the length of the larger side of the cup opening, the high-cup foundation quota item is applied.

5. Overlapping portions of connections between columns and beams, columns and walls, and beams, as well as beam ends and slab ends extending into walls, are not included in the formwork area calculation.

6. Exposed surfaces of structural columns should be included in the formwork area calculation. The contact surface between structural columns and walls is not included in the formwork area calculation.

7. Cast-in-place reinforced concrete cantilever slabs (awnings, balconies) are calculated based on the horizontal projected area of the cantilever portion. The formwork for corbel beams and slab edges extending outside the wall is not calculated separately.

8. Cast-in-place reinforced concrete stairs are calculated based on the horizontal projected area of the exposed surface, without deducting the area occupied by stairwells smaller than 500mm. The side formwork for stair treads, stair treads, platform beams, etc., is not calculated separately.

9. Concrete steps, excluding the stair straps, are calculated based on the horizontal area of the step dimensions. The formwork area on both sides of the step ends is not calculated separately.

10. Cast-in-place small concrete pools and tanks are calculated based on the external volume of the component. The formwork for the inside, outside, and bottom of the pool or tank is not calculated separately.
