It also has lower screw-holding power, moisture absorption, water absorption, and thickness swelling rate.
Decorative Properties: MDF has a smooth, flat surface, facilitating the gluing of veneer and thin paper, and is easy to paint, saving on paint.
Processing Properties: MDF can be produced in thicknesses from a few millimeters to tens of millimeters, replacing wood panels and timber of any thickness. It possesses excellent machinability, allowing for sawing, drilling, grooving, tenoning, sanding, and carving. Edges can be machined into any shape, resulting in a smooth surface.
Due to its superior performance and its effectiveness in the comprehensive and rational utilization of wood, MDF is one of the most promising products for development.
